Moraine Valley Community College is governed by an elected Board of Trustees representing Community College District 524, which encompasses all or part of 26 communities in Chicago's southwest suburbs. The college is led in its day-to-day operations and strategic mission by a college president who is assisted by the Executive Leadership Team whose members oversee the college's six divisions.

President's Office

As chief executive officer, the president has administrative responsibility for all academic affairs, student services, administrative, facility, and fiscal operations of Moraine Valley. The president, reporting to the college's Board of Trustees, has ultimate responsibility for ensuring that the college establishes, meets and advances the highest standards of excellence in its mission, goals and objectives.

Administrative Services

Provides a safe, clean, secure, and pleasant environment with all of the necessary resources to make Moraine Valley Community College a world-class educational provider. Campus Operations maintains building and campus facilities. The Police Department patrols 24/7/365. Sustainability collaborates with college operations and student learning.

Financial Affairs

Prepares the college’s annual budget, is responsible for the college’s investments and all other banking activities, prepares and submits the annual tax levy, prepares the comprehensive annual financial report (audit) and other compliance reports, processes biweekly payroll, pays bills (accounts payable), and conducts all accounts receivable functions.

Institutional Advancement

Promotes and upholds the image of the college in the local, regional, national, and global communities. The division (1) provides quality information about college programs and services through a variety of print and non-print media, including electronic media; (2) researches, analyzes and plans for community and student needs, learning and other college experiences; (3) seeks alternative revenue to fund priority programs and services; and (4) builds and maintains relationships with schools, agencies, businesses, and media. Finally, the division provides leadership for the strategic and annual planning processes.
